GoWide removes the up front cost burden of building a web site and provides a web presence for under a dollar a day.

Registration

Registration is a simple matter of answering a few questions. As soon as you have submitted your registration, the administration part of your new site is created and you are sent and email with your password. From clicking the Register link to being able to log into your new site should take less than 5 minutes.

What will it cost?

There is no charge to set up an account and start developing your site.

Published sites cost just $30 per month payable in advance. This covers all costs other than domain registration. We even have an option that does not require registration of a domain name. Should your site become very popular and receive lots of visits, you may need to upgrade your hosting to cope with the traffic and this may involve some additional cost.

What you get

We have developed processes to allow you to take control of the look and feel of your site. You have control over background and text colours as well as the images that appear on the pages. The site is content managed. That means that you enter the content for each page without having to learn the language of the web.

You get to see what your site looks like without any cost whatsoever. The dollar a day only starts when you want to publish your site to the web.
You chose the colours used on your site and you can change them as often or seldom as you wish.
If you can use a word processor, you should have no difficulty entering content for your site.
You can set up your site and see what it looks like before you pay anything. There is a one month set up period that may be extended on request.
Once you have set the colours and entered page content let us know by paying the first monthly fee, and we will help you with the initial publish of your site to the web. Once the initial publish has been done, you can make any changes you want and republish your site simply by clicking on the 'publish my site' button. You may wish to ...

Fees may be paid in multiples of one month to suit your cash flow requirements.
If your site is successful and you require a site with more. You will have already done most of the hard work in terms of content and look of the site.

If you already have a site?

We recognise that sometimes, sites can become outdated and a burden to maintain. This is especially the case if you are not able to maintain the content yourself.

You can use the GoWide process to design and build your new look site at no cost until you are ready to use it to replace your existing site. A perfect low outlay, low risk strategy.

Hosting options

GoWide can organise to host your site in several ways.

Under GoWide.com.au. If your account name is BushAccounting, your web address would be BushAccounting.GoWide.com.au. There is no need to register the domain name of BushAccounting.
If you have a registered domain name or wish to acquire one, the site can be set up using that domain name. e.g. BushAccounting.com.au.

Do not worry if that is too complicated. We can explain and help you to select the best option for your site when you are ready to publish.

If you plan to register a domain name, we recommend doing so as soon as possible. Finding an appropriate domain name that is available is becomming more difficult by the day. An Australian domain name (.com.au) should not cost more than $40 every two years to maintain.
